How can I begin watching TV?

When you order the A1 Brezžični net + TV plan, we send you a modem for internet access and a TV set-top box with preset selected TV channels.
 
  • Just switch on the modem for Brezžični net to connect to the internet.
  • Connect the TV set-top box with your TV and begin watching the channels you selected.

Where to put the modem?

In order to ensure an uninterrupted connection, it is important where you put your modem. Using this free test find the location in your home where the LTE network speed is the highest, and follow our recommendations.
 
  1.  Do not hide the modem in a corner. The signal weakens in remote corners.
  2.  Place the modem at a higher, central location in your home.
  3.  Do not place it next to internal walls, as brick/stone/concrete can impact the strength of radio waves.
  4. Do not place the modem in the kitchen, as it is generally filled with metal objects and devices that can cause signal interference.

Do you want higher internet speeds?

The A1 Brezžični net + TV plans support LTE speeds of up to 20/5 Mbps. These suffice for watching high-definition TV content. If you want higher internet speeds of up to 40/5 Mbps, you can activate the LTE-internet option for an additional €5 per month.

How to activate the LTE-internet option for speeds of up to 40/5 Mbps?

Register in the free Moj A1 app as a user of mobile services:

  1. Enter your A1 Domači net mobile number in the “Telefonska številka” (Telephone number) field.
  2. Enter the PUK code of your A1 Domači net mobile number.
  3. Enter your selected user name, password and e-mail address.
After registering, go to the menu and under “Opcije” (Options) ▸ "Druge opcije" (Other options) activate “LTE internet do 40/5 Mb/s” (LTE internet for speeds of up to 40/5 Mbps).
New users of A1 Brezžični net can also activate this option when purchasing their plan at any point of sale, or by calling to 040 40 40 40.

Modem for browsing and entertainment

The A1 Brezžični net + TV bundle comes with the Soyealink B535 modem. With no lock-in it costs €79, and with a 2-year contract the price comes down to €1. After the contract expires, the modem is yours to keep.

  • It has an internal antenna, but can also connect to external antenna.

  • Description of A1 Brezžični net + TV S and L plans

    The A1 Brezžični net + TV plans are available to all new and existing subscribers of A1 Slovenija (in accordance with the Agreement on providing a special benefit, if you have an active one). You are eligible for the plan, if network capacities at your location are available.
     
    • Data rates: All plans include access to LTE technology. Actual data transfer speeds depend on network conditions and the current occupation of the base station. The A1 Brezžični net + TV S and L plans come with unlimited data allowance with unchanged speeds of up to 20/5 Mbps.
    • TV channels: The A1 Brezžični net + TV S and L plans also include access to TV channels over the LTE network. The A1 Brezžični net  + TV S provides access to 56 TV channels, while A1 Brezžični net + TV L comes with 150 TV channels. The list of included TV channels is available here.
    • Time shift: Both A1 Brezžični net + TV plans also include time shift. When concluding a subscriber agreement, the user undertakes to use the A1 Brezžični net + TV plan at the address they listed when concluding the agreement. Otherwise, A1 reserves the right to disconnect the service.     How does the A1 Brezžični net + TV service work?
    The service works over the 4G/LTE mobile network. In order for the TV service to work, you must connect the internet modem, the set-top box and your TV set.

    What can cause issues for the TV service?
    The service operates flawlessly when the internet connection’s bandwidth is not overtaxed, or if network capacities are not occupied. When watching TV over a wireless internet connection, you may experience a degradation in the quality of the TV image, if you are also using the internet with other data-intensive devices or services (YouTube, watching streaming video, etc.), or when the network is generally busy.

    Are the internet modem and the set-top box I received from A1 for the A1 Brezžični net + TV service mine after signing the agreement?
     
    • Set-top box: the digital set-top box you receive for watching TV content is owned by A1 and you may use it for the duration of using the TV service. If you cancel the A1 Brezžični net + TV plan, you have to return the set-top box to A1.
    • Internet modem: You receive the modem when ordering the A1 Brezžični net + TV plan. If you take out a 24-month agreement, you pay €1 for the modem, and it is yours after the conclusion of the contract period. If you cancel the subscriber agreement before the expiration, you have to pay the contract fee for the modem, and the device is yours.
